Yes, I know where the FS folder is supposed to go and have worked inside that folder (Users) many, many times to check the log, add mods, etc. But the game is not going to or looking in that folder now, but somewhere else and I cannot find where. The result is that no games can be saved now. tsk.

OK, silly question but it has stumped me. I see lots of FS17 multiplayer games but cannot figure out how to obtain the passwords. In other words, how do I contact the admins for these games to ask permission to join? (I am an old guy so my brain does not work very well)

FS17 also freezes about 10 minutes into the game. No controls at all but the grass still waves. strange. I removed all mods from my mods folder, deleted the few mods that were showing in the game 'options' screen. Then I put the mods back into the folder and restarted the game. No mods at all were to be seen in the 'options' screen. The conclusion is that the mods folder I am messing with is irrelevant...

Oh yes, I had not thought of restoring my PC to an earlier time. That is a possible fix too.
