Re: Square Baler Not Baling
lol you dont even get 30-40 bales on field 17. More like 20 on that giant of a field. If you want 30-40 bales you'd have to edit the capacity of the baler from 4000 to around 1000 so it would produce more bales. Creating bales just to sell them is a huge waste imo. Not even close to being worth it. ...

Re: Crop Yield Assessment + general info
Corn chaff is fermented into silage and used to feed cows. Its also used at the biogas plant (but you know that already by now) Moved grass can also be used for silage at the biogas plant. They are actually the same. I am putting mowed grass in the one "pit" at my cow pen and fermenting t...

Re: anyway to edit the manure tankers?
its easy to just open the xml file for your tanker and increase the capacity. I bought the garant 19500L slurry tanker and it ran out of liquid manure before I even finished field 14. So I just edited it so now holds 180000L. Theres probably a way to decrease how fast it goes through the manure but ...

Re: Feeding Cows Properly?
I bought the bale shredder and sold it immediately. It was a huge pain to try and fit the bales in there to be shredded. Its a million times easier to fill up a forage wagon with straw and unload it into your cow pen. I'd suggest checking out some of the videos in http://forum.farming-simulator.com/...

Re: Bergmann Shuttle 900K
It doesn't seem to work with the Bergman. Buy one of the more expensive forage wagons. I currently have the most expensive one and I can fill it up with straw and back it up to unload at the cow thing no problem

Round bales in mixer?
So everything krone is on sale on my farm and I was hoping to confirm that round bales also work when using the 3 in 1 mixer to get the mixed cow food. So far every time I have seen someone use the mixer they have always used square bales but the round baler is cheaper so I was wondering if that wou...

Re: Tip for efficient sheepfarming
I'm not sure if the price is different on normal or hard, but a 100% full pallet goes for 10,000 on easy so a full blue trailer would bring in 100,000. Andy wow I'm only averaging around $100 a pallet. Also how can you tell if a pallet is 100% full? I was under the impression all the pallets were t...

Re: Tip for efficient sheepfarming
how are you getting the wool to stay on the trailer? I'm using the red FEL and the blue bail trailer but when I put the wool on the trailer it sits there for a second then just kind of glitches off to the side until it falls off the trailer Also I'm having a hard time getting the pallet off of the F...
