I don't think it needs more than right kind of attacher joint to harvester, if you don't mind lack of visuals. Use this mod instead, I tested it and it works.

It does have a minor issue where the textures inside the trailer are wacky because of the reflective properties.

But it does work fine.

There are so few, for many reasons. First, the game isn't a month old yet. Takes time to make mods. Second, vehicles from the old games have to be converted, and under the new physics they need a lot of work to make them smooth. What you are asking for takes a very complex LUA script to work. That wouldn't be a problem, really, except that Giants has not given the updated LUA scripting documentation yet. So, until they do, updating, making or anything involving LUA is out of the question.
