I saw a mod do this in 2011, so it stands to reason that it is doable in 2013 as well.
However, if it's not a custom map, your game will no longer be multiplayer compatible.
All the files for the PDA are in the installation folder.

Many people are just doing base conversions. This works fine for equipment that doesn't have to be driven, in most cases. The physics was updated in 2013 from 2011, and so everything that has to be driven needs to be tweaked. Many mod makers are simply converting and loading a mod only to look for e...

Darker nights and such should be doable the same as it was in 2011. Dunno if it can be a universal mod, or if it has to be bound to a specific map though. Might look into it later and see how hard it would be to do this time around.

There are several free programs out there that will convert png and such to DDS. That's really all you need, something to convert them. Glad you figured it out on your own. The CData command uses everything between the tags exactly as written. This is true anywhere you find the CDATA tag.
