Stop Crop Growth

I did a few searches, but they were all hits on Users that their crops stop growing. Mu question is just the opposite, I want to stop all crops on my map from growing. I have decided to take a break from farming and do some logging for a couple of months, want to stop my crops from growing.
I do not use seasons.

I only play with seasons.. I get some months of in winter time.. Which I speed through if I don't want to do other stuff..

Stopping growth seems like a strange feature to add.. How about stalling time instead? Think there's mods so you can get time to stand still while still being able to do stuff..

I don't believe there is a way to turn growth off in the game settings, it was either 17 or 19 that had that option, but it was removed in 22, not sure why Giants did it. Other that Seasons, there is no control to stop growth.

You most certainly can pause the growth in settings

The help text is confusing if that setting changes growth. It clearly says turns on a growth calendar and it's listed under Seasons as seasonal growth
