Post by SLS93 »

I posted in mods but no one replied.

Downloaded a couple of things of LS2013.

Downloaded, copied to mods folder and extracted the compressed files.

There are still mods showing up?

When you download mods, if its a compressed ZIP file, you just put the ZIP inside the mods folder.
No NEED to decompress, Fs2013 can read inside all alone. Might be this. good luck.

Almost. Some ZIP files, such as "pack" files contain multipkle ZIP files within. Unzip the outer ZIP file and move the un-zipped ZIP into the mods folder.

And just to be sure - if you download and use a tractor mod, for example - the tractor doesn't show up in the normal tractor list of the store. Mods have their own categories in the store so use the arrows to change pages to find the ones you've installed.

Sometimes the mod creator or uploader hasn't included a "<machineType></machineType>" tag in the modDesc.xml file. So, the equipment may not show up at all. Check the log.txt file for errors as well.
