Re: rattlesnake valley
I'm sorry but this one really bugs me because the last time you asked is literally one page back from this question. You don't have to read the whole thing but you could at least go back a few pages before you ask again. It only takes a minute.Kj252017 wrote:Hi i habe a ? He thinksthe fixes are easy or quick enough to do. What he dont know is how big a problem this is and how much time people need to be free

Re: rattlesnake valley
Does anyone know WHERE you pick up milk at the cow farm to take to the sell point?
Using Kotte Universal tank, definitely picks up milk on normal maps.
Driving all around the dairy farm trying to test picking it up, can't find the loading point.
Edit.
I found the milk fill point.
It is at the north end of the OTHER barn on the cow farm. ( not the one you feed the cows in)
Looks like a slurry point or so.
Just beside the door on the outside, you can drive in one end of the barn and out the other.

While we're at the topic of milk, I calculated a bit and couldn't find a point in doing the soymilk thing. Am I missing something or are the prices totally not thought through for that?

Re: rattlesnake valley
Haven't tried that yet. Normal milk to the milk sell point seems pretty worthwhile though.
I got just under $2400 for just under 6000 liters on my first test of hauling it.
Normal map price is 40 cents a liter, or $40 per 1000 liters.

Re: rattlesnake valley
As far as I know there is no way to change that price for milk (unless you set up your own sell point and make it higher)
Re: rattlesnake valley
just baled all the straw on F15, won't be doing that again. tons of bales and takes forever to grab them all didn't think it through before i did it. when i pick up straw i get about 1,000,000L - 1,200,000L so, 4,000L per bale that comes out to be around 250 - 300 bales.

Re: rattlesnake valley
yup, around 4 hours of baling and picking up with trailer then transporting, and selling. back and forth and i'll never do it again. i had forgotten why i stopped baling in FS15, now i remember. lots of time spent for next to no gainp0wd3rp1l0t wrote:that had to take ages.clw2147 wrote:just baled all the straw on F15, won't be doing that again. tons of bales and takes forever to grab them all didn't think it through before i did it. when i pick up straw i get about 1,000,000L - 1,200,000L so, 4,000L per bale that comes out to be around 250 - 300 bales.

You guys dont like to work for your money?
Re: rattlesnake valley
don't mind working for my money, but baling to sell is pointless when you can use a loader wagon and sell for the same price. and i can't see much point in baling for animals when you have the mixing stations on this map. the only possible reason i can see to bale is to make wrapped silage bales, but that only works with grassBigC92 wrote:You guys dont like to work for your money?
