Yeah it is. I can't imagine what the Iowa corn farmers experienced. I'm glad our corn is still standing.

We have not hit above 50/acre for beans...they look good, they are definitely dry as hell but yield is terrible. Corn will probably happen next week for us as light rain will move in....it's so dry probably still able to go with corn. Hopefully it's not terrible, corn looks small

I think the beans we cut were were mid 50's based on the elevator ticket. I think our corn is a little wet yet.

You might be surprised...I've seen of the greenest corn taken out and still was 17% moisture. Half brown half green and it's dry

Well, it’s been a rough week, but we had our best day of silage yet on Saturday. Got 2100 tons, first time this year. We usually average 2200 tons in corn that isn’t down

Of course I took Monday-thursday off work to hit farming hard and probably going to rain. Granted it will take like an inch or more to slow us down with how dry the ground is lol That said..tried some corn today, tested 16% moisture and average 180/acre. Not the best but not as bad as we thought so far.

We've been getting through corn silage slowly. We're in a field right now where we have to cut diagonally and can only go one way because the down corn will only feed one way into the chopper. Plugs up otherwise. Taken us 4 hours to do 20 acres, worst day
