Sun always in one spot

Ok here's another thing triggering my ocd. The sun barely changes location throughout the day. It rises in the south-east and sets in the south-west. I know in the Northern hemisphere (map is Calmsden - UK) the sun does not rise exactly in the east and set in the west, but obviously it does move higher across the sky. Is there any way to fix this?

So basically the sun is mostly in the south going up and down just a bit above the horizon. Why?

Apparently I asked in the Oxy discord about this and for the modders to mes about with the sun/moon etc rising and setting in the correct places is a major task so I think if it does happen it will have to come from Giants first or have them allow it to be modded as needed. I may be wrong on this.
