Court farm: home farm's silage pit not working

Been away from fs22 for a bit, Court farm has had an update since last i played. Since i cant seem to put a sheet on my silage pit, anyone else has had this problem? Im playing on ps4

Did you start a new save since the update or are you using an existing save from before the update?

I'm on Home Farm as well (PS5) and I've never had a problem with that silage pit, although I've only ever put grass in it to make silage.
Are you sure that it is 100% compacted? You won't get the option to cover it if it's not fully compacted.

Made certain of it ill give it a try again later but triple checkt it before i put it here

Glad to hear you got it working!
By the way, do you know how much chaff you can put in that pit? I've got over 500,000l in it at the moment, but there still seems room for more.

Im a bit away from that, building pretty much from scratch with older equipment, only working the grass field out by the cow yard. Im around 170k liter , good to know it got plenty of room to grow
