How are u guys handling this? I'm using a loading wagon but as far as I can tell there is no storage for these things on the map and there is no tip anywhere feature.. So I'm really at a loss here as Idk if I can run a proper animal farm without being able to store food for them..
I guess Ideally I would just get the baler and respective trailer but I simply can't afford it.. Any advice would be super appreciated.. Thanks in advance

Re: Grass and hay storage
I usually start a new game also by getting a mower and loading wagon as fast as possible to breed sheep and produce wool.
For loading wagon no need for tedder or windrower yet as loading wagon can collect grass directly from the field. It takes only a bit more time to collect, but time is kinda free
Sheep don't need much grass or water for that matter.
Then buy a tedder to make hay, then windrower for faster grass/hay collecting.
Open the horse stable and ride/train horses for fast money in the early stages of the game.
Collect the straw for the horse with the loading wagon too, dump excess traw at barn (animal handler).
The money from the horses will allow you to buy the baler and bale trailer very soon.
Then start breeding cows. As you can set now stacks of grass/hay bales at the feeding points.
Just my 2 cents,
XiniX

Re: Grass and hay storage
Ty for your quick response.. I just got done with surgery but I'm looking forward to finishing my first cut and feeding my moo cows and sheep.. Lack of storage for loose stuff so far is my big complaint with 20.. It needed a simple loft or something.. Oh well.. Thanks and happy farming
