Dedicated server requirements

I have purchased Farming Simulator 17 through the Steam store.

Do I need to purchase a second copy to run my own dedicated server?

Is there a Linux version of the server available that I could run on my existing Linux server?

Yes you need second copy for the server, which cannot be Steam version.
No Linux version is available.
