John Deere 8R Maximum HP?
John Deere 8R Maximum HP?
At official specifications, the highest power is 450 hp. FS 19 shows 435 hp in the list? There must be a mistake.

Re: John Deere 8R Maximum HP?
Look up the NH T7 on NH`s pages. the T7.230 has 3 hp numbers 150,180 and 225.. One is rated engine hp, one is pto and the last is max engine epm, (guess its the same as rpm..) http://agriculture1.newholland.com/nar/ ... ifications
The JD 5125R is sold as a 125hp tractor, but has 10hp aviable as boost, in said circumstances. John deere calls this IPM or Intelligent Power managment. so the 8400R has 50 aviable. Bigger eninge equals more Power from increasing rpm..

Re: John Deere 8R Maximum HP?
Ok it's due to the lose of power through the drive train via the transmission, axle or hydraulics that engine has 450hp once it gets through the transmission and axle it has 400hp at the wheels, so the PTO will have 435hp because it has less lose so the HP rating is not wrong or a mistake once you learn it, it makes more sense.
Re: John Deere 8R Maximum HP?
I understand. They are taking these situations into account.crash wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 12:00 am Look up the NH T7 on NH`s pages. the T7.230 has 3 hp numbers 150,180 and 225.. the drivetrain loss is much higher.. and the Power to ground(drawbar Power) is somewwhat inbetween rated engine hp, and pto Power

Re: John Deere 8R Maximum HP?
The reason for it beeing 435hp in game is pretty simple if you think about it.
here; Case ih magnum 380cvx, 435hp max
https://www.caseih.com/northamerica/en- ... gnum-380#0
and here, NH T8.435 also 435hp max
http://agriculture1.newholland.com/nar/ ... ifications
pto Power is pretty much the same as jd on the last one 315hp..

Re: John Deere 8R Maximum HP?
Good catch, it's indeed 450.
We fixed that just right in time for the factsheet to have the correct value. Apparently I forgot to update the list on the website. It will have the correct values with the next update

Thank you. If you pay attention to the correct values of all vehicles, we will be happy. :chinese:bassaddict wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 10:13 am Good catch, it's indeed 450.

Maybe we should also acknowledge that this is a game, and sometimes compromises will need to be made such that not all vehicles/implements can have technical details that are 100% accurate?
I'm all for accurate representation, but would prefer gameplay optimization/functionality/features over a few little details here and there
