Friend Cannot Find My Server even with Hamachi

I have the Steam version, my friend has the version from the actual company. I opened my 10823 port on my router. I have tried UPnP on and off. I have tried my firewall on and off. I found that some people us hibatchi hamachi or whatever its called. I have that now as well as my friend. We are both now connected to the same network. From what I read that should have cured it. However, he cannot see my game still. Why it is so god damned difficult to find a multiplayer game is beyond me. Why can we not just connect via IP address?

So my question is what the heck do i have to do with this Hamachi thing to get this damn game to work? We have no problems connecting with other games why is this so much more different?

Hmmm, 2 copies of what??? Steam version, Direct DL version, Shop bought version, Amazon versions? Gee, your comment was as helpful as an ashtray on a motorbike wasn't it???

And no I do not have a solution for this problem, hence haven't answered previously, nor decided on a bit of necromancy either......

All Players nee the same Gameversion 1.2
Look at Startscreen of FS in bottom right Corner.

When you buy it from http://www.farming-simulator.com/buy-no ... sublang=gb
You have to load the last Patch from http://www.farming-simulator.com/update ... sublang=gb

installed as Adminitrator the Patch 1.2 wwith doubleclick and run the Programm.
